Winnipeg Gets Weird With 1″ Buttons

Once again Six Cent Press has teamed up with the Winnipeg Art Gallery (WAG) to create a series of weird one inch buttons. This time, to exhibit the amazing work of Surrealist master Salvador Dali. With thousands of 1″ buttons on hand the turnout is looking to be huge.

Dali, best-known for his mind-bending paintings of melting clocks and super tall elephants, will be making his debut in Winnipeg this Fall, nearly 25 years after his death. Featured at the exhibit will be Salvador’s esteemed Santiago El Grande, measuring over four meters tall.

The custom  1” button pins featuring a headshot of the artist, sporting his distinct style of moustache and haunting gaze, pay homage to Dali’s grandiose persona. His work will be featured in two shows beginning September 27th and ending January 25th.
