I ♥ North

Every year around this time, we look forward to receiving new artwork from one of our most valued customers Alison McCreesh. It’s always such a treat to see what she’s been working on throughout the year.

Very much influenced by the Canadian North, Alison’s more recent work reflects the quirks, humor and particularities of living North of 60. Through her comics, illustrations and sketches, Alison prides herself in showing a different side to that promoted in the tourism brochures. Shack dwelling, houseboat living, freeze-up commuting are all themes that have been many times brought to light in her work.
