It takes a village to run a roller derby league so that is what they’re creating!
POW! TOWN ROLLER DERBY formed in May 2011 and in a very short time they have hosted a Fresh Meat Bootcamp; signed up a large number of members; started junior derby; started playing in scrimmages on Vancouver Island with other teams; and joined forces with four other teams on Vancouver Island to form the “Salish Sea Rollers” League.
