Vintage Anti-Prohibition Badge

This button dates from a time in the early part of the last century when alcohol was illegal. Not sure which state it’s from but the message urges people to vote yes on a proposition to repeal Prohibition. Different states (and provinces, as Canada had prohibition too) ended prohibition at different times.

Mississippi, which had made alcohol illegal in 1907, was the last state to repeal Prohibition in 1966. Kansas did not allow sale of liquor “by the drink” (on-premises) until 1987.
